The rules for using the Konomi educational platform
1. Introductory provisions
These terms govern the rights and obligations related to using the Konomi educational platform available at konomi.cz.
1.1 Operator and user
The platform is operated by Richard Polanka, Company ID 23559268, based in Sousedovice, Czech Republic (the "operator"). A user is any person who uses the platform.
1.2 Binding nature of the terms
By registering and using the platform you agree to these terms.
1.3 Changes to the terms
We may amend the terms. We will inform you of significant changes in advance on the platform or by email. If you do not agree with the new wording, you can cancel your account at any time; by continuing to use the platform you accept the changes.
2. Registration and account
To make full use of the platform you need to create a user account.
2.1 Registration
Provide true and up-to-date information when registering. Users under 15 may use the platform with the consent of a legal guardian, or as part of school lessons through their school.
2.2 Account management
You are responsible for the security of your login credentials. The account is personal and non-transferable; do not share your credentials with anyone else.
2.3 Account cancellation
You can cancel your account at any time in the settings. The operator may restrict or cancel an account in the event of a serious breach of these terms.
3. Services provided
Konomi is an educational platform focused on economics, financial literacy and IT.
3.1 Educational content
We provide access to courses, lessons, quizzes and practice exercises. All platform content is protected by copyright and is intended for personal study use.
3.2 Features for schools
Teachers can manage classes, assign courses and tasks to students, and track their progress. The relevant school or teacher is responsible for the use of the platform in lessons.
3.3 Educational nature of the content
The platform's content, including topics on investing and personal finance, is exclusively educational in nature. It does not constitute financial, investment or tax advice and does not replace consultation with a professional.
3.4 Availability
We strive for uninterrupted availability of the platform, but we do not guarantee it. We reserve the right to technical downtime and maintenance.
4. Payment terms
The platform's basic features are free. A paid subscription unlocks access to the full content.
4.1 Prices
Subscription prices are listed in the current price list on the platform and are final. We issue documents electronically and send them by email.
4.2 Payment method
Payments are made through a secure payment gateway. The operator does not store payment card data.
4.3 Subscription and cancellation
The subscription renews automatically for the next period. You can cancel it at any time in your account settings; you keep access to paid features until the end of the paid period.
5. User rights and obligations
By using the platform you agree to follow a few basic rules.
5.1 Your rights
You have the right to access the services within the scope of your plan, to technical support, and to the protection of your personal data in accordance with our privacy policy.
5.2 Prohibited conduct
It is prohibited to share account credentials, to copy or further distribute the platform's content, to disrupt its operation, to circumvent security measures, or to use the platform for unlawful purposes.
6. Liability
Definition of the operator's liability for the services provided.
6.1 Content "as is"
The platform's content is provided "as is". Although we prepare it with the utmost care, we do not guarantee that it will always be error-free, or that studying it will lead to specific results.
6.2 User decisions
The operator is not responsible for financial or other decisions you make based on the platform's educational content (see section 3.3).
6.3 Limitation of liability
The operator's total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the services in the last 12 months.
7. Final provisions
